Commission Process

Portrait commission process…

Euell will visit a client in their home, or they can come to her studio, and they will have an initial meeting where Euell will create a few small charcoal studies, as well as take a number of photographs for drawing reference.

For Still life and landscape…

The client will provide the objects/show the desired view to Euell, and they will discuss the desired outcome, arrangement of the painting or drawing. Euell will complete a few charcoal studies of the subject matter.

The client and Euell will review sketches together, and once a composition is chosen, Euell will then create a color study for review. Then the final commission will begin, to be completed in the scheduled timeline. A 50% deposit will be paid upon the initial meeting, where a contract will also be signed. The remainder of the balance is paid upon completion of the final work.

Pricing Upon Request. Commissions vary based on size, medium and subject. All commissioned works are unframed, but Euell can help arrange and coordinate framing options if desired.
